FileNet to SharePoint Migration

IBM FileNet (FileNet P8) often exhibits a substantially different structure when compared to modern content services platforms, making migration a potentially intricate, expensive, and time-consuming endeavor. However, this need not be the case.

Having established a partnership with IBM in 2005 and actively participating in both internal and customer-oriented projects, Vamosa had the privilege of successfully migrating all content into www.ibm.com, using IBM WCM, after IBM’s acquisition of Aptrix. Additionally, we served as their migration partner during IBM’s divestment, including the transfer of software products like Lotus and Connections to HCL.

Therefore, with extensive experience spanning many years in migrating content to and from legacy IBM products, including various versions of FileNet P8 (e.g., 4.x, 5.x, and older editions), we possess the expertise to handle annotations on files, intricate folder structures within FileNet implementations, and the management of read-only records along with their retention policies.
