Standardise and reduce complexity

Standardising content involves making sure that all words and phrases used within a document are consistent. This can include using the same terms to refer to the same concepts, as well as using the same spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Reducing complexity in content involves simplifying the language used to make it more accessible to the widest possible audience. This includes replacing longer words with shorter ones, using shorter sentences, and providing meaningful context for any technical terms used. It also involves breaking up large chunks of text into shorter paragraphs, and using headings and subheadings to make it easier to scan.

Our migration team are fully conversant in the requirements associated with the standardisation and reduction of complexity in content and are familiar with many methods and approaches to this including automated processes that can be accessed via Migration Architect.

Why use T-Systems for Cloud Migrations ?

‘Content creep’ is the phenomenon where large and complex organisations develop a range of knowledge-based systems to support increasing business complexity.  Typically, support systems such as intranets, documentation hubs and Wikis may start small and distributed.  But as the systems grow, the heterogenuous systems supporting them may become out of date, and the information may become contradictory.

Vamosa provides the products, the people and the process to modernise and consolidate and restructure the information as  required – accurately, transparently and with zero downtime on your existing site.

We never leave until the job is done.  Our team has been delivering hundreds of projects to satisfied customers, and we have the backing and support of T-Systems, the technology subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG.

Vamosa’s Migration Architect system manages link translation for content management migration to all CMS systems.

The Migration Architect system also has the ability to easily transform your source content material into the required shape for your chosen target CMS.

Vamosa has all the IT infrastructure and IT support you need to establish a flexible Cloud platform for web and intranet migration, and to protect your data in the modern workplace.

Vamosa Connectors

T-Systems has delivered content migration projects for the following systems. The flexible nature of the migration platform enables connectors to be written for any system so in theory there is no restriction on the target system that can be loaded to with the T-Systems tooling.

Case Study

Read our case study about a French insurance group, made up of companies who manage life, health and other forms of insurance policies, such as investment management.

Our client’s existing intranet and global collaboration systems were in need of significant investment so that they could remain stable and up to date.

It was decided they should move from their existing IBM technologies, and instead use Microsoft Office 365 in the Cloud.
